Cox's Tree Service was founded in 2002 by ISA-Certified Arborist and licensed crane operator Paul Cox, whose vision for safe and efficient tree care set it on the path to becoming the company it is today.  Its current owner, Kris Schmandt, also an ISA-Certified Arborist and licensed crane operator, is continuing to grow the company with a mission to provide people in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas outstanding service and a quality customer experience.  The goal of Cox's Tree Service is to utilize our cranes and other large equipment in innovative ways to keep property impact to a minimum while creating maximum value and excellent tree care results.
